Corona Virus

The Star Valley Quilt Trail is scheduled for August 20 – 21 of this year. We want to assure you we are monitoring all the different aspects of the evolving COVID-19 (corona virus) and how it may affect the Quilt Trail. We will keep you updated as we get closer to our quilt show.  We will monitor the State of Wyoming’s Health Department and our own Star Valley Health, hospital, and take appropriate steps.  Of course we hope not to postpone or cancel the show. On a positive note; quilting has not been canceled! Keep sewing and finish up those quilts!  Wash your hands! Stay healthy!

About Us

The Star Valley Quilt Trail began as a pie-in-the-sky idea of a bunch of quilters out to lunch together.  The “what if…” and “wouldn’t it be…” soon became “we can do this”.  With the help of our quilting community, business community, and our County Economic Development Council, our inaugural Quilt Trail was held August 2017; just days before the total Solar Eclipse.

The Quilt Trail follows a 40-mile corridor of Scenic Byway, U.S. Highway 89, through the Star Valley of Wyoming.  Quilts, vendors, and special exhibits are on display in multiple community centers in towns all situated along the highway.

Our intention is to celebrate quilts every three years by sharing the joy and history of quilts with other quilters and the non-quilting public.  We feel everyone should have the opportunity to appreciate this old and modern art form.  We invite all quilters to enter their work.
